well, it's far from valentine's day but i suppose i was in a lovey dovey kind of mood.  so...i thought i would bring some you some couples who hit the right notes (or did at one point).  i know it wasn't so long ago that i posted the pic of bey and jay, but i am so loving their expecting moment, i just couldn't help myself.  anyway, i hope this brightens you day and inspires your heart.

fell in love with a boy, and married him

yesterday was my five year anniversary.  its a sentence i never imagined i'd be saying.  for one, i was never that girl who was overly concerned with getting married.  it wasn't on my list of things to accomplish unlike many gals and guys i know and hear about.  plus, everything happened so fast, i can barely believe it happened.  met one day in april...eloped in a foreign country in july.  i now know it sounds like the tales of a flaky or impulsive celebrity it-girl (which i am far from).  but what i've found is that my marriage is actually the most sound and stable decision i've made thus far.  it (and he) has helped me mature tremedously.  finally, its not all about me all the time.  love him and us...happy anniversary, my sweet.  xoxoxo

rachel zoe and her hubby, roger have their new son, skylar morrison!!!! really exciting news!  i know they must be thrilled.  i have been really missing the show and hope they return soon.  i also hope it will be entertaining since the departure of the blonde bitchy assistant (forgot her name; was it kate?) and brad goreski.  congrats, rachel and rog!  no pressure for the baby's fashion sense but i do wonder what little skylar will wear first...  besos jenna pearle*

i spent quite a few hours yesterday watching the oscars and the red carpet (while simultaneously watching the knicks defeat the heat).  fashionwise, i thought most everyone did a great job.  above are a few that were my favorites.  i really loved ann in the sexy, fitted tuxedo.  wasn't that gorgeous?!  just a glam night............besos jenna pearle*

hi guys!  you know how i love a stylish couple.  well, jude and sienna are no exception.  these photos demonstrate how well these on and off lovebirds can coordinate on outfits.  there is nothing that either of them are wearing that i don't already own or want to own and rock myself.  by the way, did you ever see the movie that brought these two together in the first place, Alfie? Sienna Miller must have been hard to resist because besides from her beauty, her outfits were perfection.  anyhow, bravo for the miller-law collabo!  you done well!!

presenting the power couple of our lifetime, mr. and mrs jay and bey.  there is so much to love about these two but lately, i've been enjoying their syncopated fashion sense.  in the first pic, bey's angelic hippie look along with jay's playful accessories make me oh so happy.  in the second picture, ms. knowles is rocking one of my tried and true go to ensembles (the newsboy is my hat of choice) while jay sticks with a preppy, hip hop look.  the brown louie belt, beige cardigan and classic  timbs work well for a casual night out (when you're an entertainment legend with a superstar wife). what a stylish duo!   besos jenna pearle*

happy father's day!!! okay, okay...i know i'm very late but i needed a break from posting. so, i ended up letting the day go unnoticed here at passionista place. its ironic since i accumalated all of these pics a long time ago and decided to wait until father's day to post them. anyhow, as i mentioned before, my parents are extremely stylish (and wonderful all across the board) people. when it comes to putting effort and time into an ensemble, despite being a manly man,my dad does NOT disappoint. he plans ahead, he plans in detail. i recall seeing the process firsthand...from the slow, old fashioned shaving ritual, to the shining of the shoes, to the laying out the clothes, all the way to the choosing the perfect cufflinks, watch and other accessories. so, although i've already celebrated with him, i'm giving him yet another shout out for such impeccable style.

btw, LOVE this delightful duo of lenny and zoe kravitz. they seem like they have a great relationship. of course, i adore lisa bonet as well but this awesome father-daughter team cannot be beat.

no vacancy valentine's day

this is a valentine's day post. obviously, i'm late. but yesterday, i was too busy celebrating to post. had a great time and hope you did, too. in the lovey dovey spirit, i've decided to present you with a collage with a valentine's day theme. this collage celebrates all types of love (love of your soul mate, friends, family, and of course, self) and february 14th should do the same. no such thing as not having a valentine these days. i hope you enjoy the images and remember the passionate one that is jenna pearle hearts you.

awwww!!! look at the happy couple...as you can see, this is a pic of bey and jay walking hand in hand. don't know why this pic makes me happy. perhaps, its because you rarely see this side of the couple. also, i think we both got hitched around the same time. anyhoo, enjoy the pic of these two taking it down a notch and enjoying each other's company.

here are david and victoria beckham gallavanting around the city fabulously. i suppose i am featuring this under the toning it down category. however, posh, although fairly toned down for her, is not really all that casual here. it doesn't matter because david does fit the bill and in my opinion is the one who makes this pic. i love his look here (and everywhere else usually). the grey knit scarf and hat combo, the perfect leather (faux?) jacket and comfy yet stylish sneaks and baggy pants. pure perfection, if you ask me (and apparently, you did).

Taking It Down a Notch...To Brunch

surprisingly, russell brand is sexy to me for so many odd and interesting reasons. unfortunately, i don't have time to expand on that here. it seems katy perry knows what i'm talking about. here they are above, canoodling, on their way to a very sexy breakfast after a VERY sexy night. i'm speculating, of course. the rock n roll couple is dressed down but still they manage to look fierce (check out the great accessories on both). no visible hangovers here! good job, katy and russell. i applaud you...
