this is one of my lovely she-roes, toni morrison. tar baby, sula, jazz, beloved, the bluest eye...the list goes on and on. and what is this a list of, you ask? masterpieces! classic literature with so many layers and textures even morrison herself can't explain it. i have read plenty of her novels but have quite a few left. now that i understand the complexity of her work, i feel like i need lots of spare time to devote to these pieces. and when is that going to happen? i promise to get to it soon, ms. morrison. i thank you for your contributions!ur beloved, jenna pearle*
